Color Blind

Make your judgments..
But I will hold no resentments
Make your assumptions
But I pay that no attention
See you don’t know me
Ignorance is our greatest enemy
You know my skin color;
But you don’t know my character or personality
That is how it is today, that is reality.
It is a shame how things have not change.
Some things and people want the old ways to remain.
We must not forget the past; but we have to not let the past determine our future.
Instead we must learn from our past mistakes.
So far we have seen that is our annihilation, demise and fate.
To me ignorance will always fuel hate.
So know matter what your creed is and race.
Change is good and it needs to be embrace.
Love is always easy to find.
But not if you remain Color Blind.

“Laundry is the only thing that should be separated by color.”
