in the silence
i feel you near
a mere breath away
a heartbeat really
a longing that's a melody
pulsating to the beat of stars
a heavy moon that's drooping
bursting at the seams
so much to say
pent up inside
release the pressure
open wide the gates
longings that seek outlet
as citylights burn indigo
