Love Poem: Church Bell

Church Bell

The church bell rang with deep love on the day that we wed. But, in dreams it is a "hammer" too loud- ringing and ringing endlessly. I kiss stone as church bells weep of vanished love. _________________ June 22, 2021 Poetry/Free Verse/Church Bell Copyright Protected, ID 06-1366-075-22 All Rights Reserved, 2021, Constance La France Written for the Standard contest, Ring My Bell sponsor, John Anderson, Judged 07/07/2021 Tenth Place
