Love Poem: Christmas Love Came Down

Christmas Love Came Down

Christmas Love Came Down

Christmas cheers chime as chubby cheeked children anticipate and wait.
Hoping that they have lived well enough for presents up to this date.
Reality relies on the realizations that love from parents and God give joy. Really!
Infinite love shares Santa tales enticing dreams of toys for girls and boys.
Dream-like love shows as Santa sits in malls with smiles; children sharing hopes.
Tantalizing wistfulness wanders through young hearts that overtake rational scopes.
Mesmerizing melodies with memories of merriments or maladies gone mad.
Alas, across all aquifers amid alluring skies, altered human awareness seizes…
Santa Clause, a man whose love, once endured the gravest times. Image, freezes!

Legendary love embraced. He lived a life of giving to humble hearts. He eased fears.
Oh, how his happy helping hallowed our Lord and Savior. Saving secret tears.
Very well, Saint Nicholas followed teachings and examples of his Lord, our Lord.
Every night, out of sight, he would secretly deliver. Food and gifts all poverty adored.

Caring and sharing He gave of his wealth to his fellow man with needs.
Almighty God looked down and blessed him more for his good deeds.
Miracles and hope uplifted kindhearted men who in those days joined in.
Eliminating selfish ways, demonstrating love like Christ had shown on earth to men.

Deliverer exemplified by the actions of one caring man. A man, like Christ with myrrh.
Offerings of love, gifts given celebrate Jesus Christ, our Savior's holy birth.
We show our love for Him when unto others we, like Him, help them abide.
Needing no glory for the good we give, since Christ came down. His love thrived.
