Christmas Dance

Glittering prettily in the sky His light reflected on the night Spirit of love borne with a sigh Joy and peace so brilliantly bright Dancing on the fallen snow so white Feelings alive, dancing with wonder Breathing a yearning for this child One whose gift is louder than thunder Reflecting the beauty of One so mild He should bring us to God, reconciled Wise men came to see this precious One Lying in a manger, perfect as an embrace Bringing kindness to those who had begun To know the worth of His miraculous grace Worthy is He who came to the human race Hope fills the hearts who know this love Glowing from the One born on this even Filling the spirit with inklings from above Sentiments of inspiration we can believe in When we pray to know Him, to perceive in Christmas is alive – dancing upon the soul Reminding hearts to listen to Jesus’ light The Son who will show us how to be whole Give us the answer to prayers that invite Faith to sing glory to God who will incite winter quintain , Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Francine Roberts December 11, 2021
