Love Poem: Centre of Bliss

Centre of Bliss

It didn't take long
until she inhaled his soul
and he inhaled hers,
pulling her out of that hole.
For she never knew
the depth of her inner abyss,
or that she could be saved
by one ten hour kiss.
Yet with there lips pushed together
time did not exist.
Just to breathe in each other,
was a time not to be missed.
It couldn't be wasted.
It had to be savoured.
For no other lover
could be sweeter flavoured.
From that first kiss
their addiction was clear and not having that fix,
was their greatest fear.
Everyday spent apart
only heightens their longing
and when she is there,
he will succumb to the galling.
Every frantic embrace
always feels like there last.
Lips that could never be parted
for fear of smashing like glass.
For their every spare moment
by the other is haunted.
To cease the ache now eternal
they must obtain what is most wanted.
It will never be over
no matter what comes between.
for they live inside each other,
He's King and she's Queen.
There was never joy
before they shared a kiss.
It's her only joy,
in the centre of bliss.
