Castle of Crystal Glass

In the hued hours of the setting sun,
on a yearning blank canvas,
my mind painted your floral face.
Lilac petal lips shaped seraphic smile,
lacing the lattice of my chromatic dreams.

In the smoldering sandstorm of time,
on the collapsing dunes of despair,
the future seemed to crumble in debris,
but rising from the dust of dereliction,
swept from the canvas by winds of memory,
I found you were still there enshrined.

I then heard the soliloquies of the soul,
through the moonbeam I followed the dreams,
for they knew the way to your heart.
Reached the shore of the ecstasy sea,
where counting the unbroken waves on tides of time,
I built the castle of crystal glass to live
in the fragility of dreams.
