Cast a Sinner Just a Pebble

i got tired, of smoking and drinking
the days still, have my comfort, start thinking
what am i to search for? missing? parts and pieces?
only an instant, i witness, farthest reaches

dont condemn me, i wont follow, forget the future
im a user, something hollow, not a teacher
my doubt a fire, in my iron, filled with oak tree
autumn colors, city lights, smog and smokey

waiting for payback, cast a sinner, just a pebble
just as soon, i see the moon, start to settle
time and adjustment, counting my blessings, with both hands
from the womb, to the smell, of burning metal

make way for grace, lovers are thieves, caught in motion
play it safe, paint your face, stubborn devotion
bet on the red, the marble dances, fill in the caption
sleep when im dead, pain for meds, i'll rise to action
