Candy Crush

Candy Crush is a computer game that people like to play
But Candy Crush to me was revealed a different way
My adrenaline would flow, there would be a quick rush
For this guy I liked a lot and had a real, big crush
Having a crush on him meant I would find a way
To do extra, special things to brighten up his day

My Candy Crush, I played it only once a week
I'd place candy in his draw where he would go and seek
I'd buy candy for my Candy Crush cause he was just so sweet
I'd think of all the different candies he would love to eat
There were Snickers, M&M's, Baby Ruths and Smarties
You know the sour tart candies people have at their parties
There were Peanuts and Skittles, can't forget the Red Hots
And the chocolate covered raisins, oh he liked those a lot

I'd place candy and cookies and different types of chips
And when no one was around, I'd say, Let me kiss those lips
Not so much a long kiss, for I only wanted a peck
And every time that we embraced, I'd softly kiss his neck

I would leave him little sticky notes, for that's just how I do it
Having him as my Candy Crush was really nothing to it
Yeah, that was Just Us, our moment in time
And if I wanted to reflect, I'd just simply press rewind

It would only be ten dollars on the candy I would spend
For just to see him with a smile, I'd do it all again
It's a Capricorn thing, some of you may not understand
There are times we just do it, we don't take the time to plan

Candy Crush ended when I saw the wrappers in another room
For he was giving it to other workers, or so I would assume
I bought the candy and all kinds of treats
Just for him and not others to eat

Cheeky I may be, for that's just how I am
And whoever don't like it, frankly I don't give a damn!
