Mom it's been almost a month since you been gone
My heart still sings a sad sad song
Been doing my best to try and hold on
Often times feel like I can't go on
Feelings I know you would say are wrong
Keep your head up and stay strong
For you & my granddaughter you must move on
tommorow a new day it starts at dawn
you had the strength in u all along
do it for me your friend and Mom
I'm in the beautiful place where I belong
I am pain free now like a magnificent swan
I love you my child for me carry on
I can finally rest now serene & calm
