By the Grace of God
By the grace of God I was set free
All of the sin I wrote out of me
There are a couple of reasons that I write
See I’m seeking the spiritual light
I stepped out of the darkness of sin
Let the Lord sooth my pain from with-in
To ever truly be free I had no doubt
Every sin had to be wrote out
I had to write them out so the world could see
The only way to live is total honesty
Once you have confessed all of your lies
You need no excuses or alibis
It all is as clear as can be
“He died on the cross for you and for me”
The reason he did it well don’t you know
He not only loves your life he loves your soul
