Love Poem: Butterflies

Butterflies

You give me butterflies inside...

Colors that are pieced together
to form fragile wings
they are hypnotizing when hued in the sunlight

pieces that are seen to gather everything
so if you fall you will glide to touch the sky

I just want to touch and kiss you...

Even though I know I'll miss you
every time you pass me by
clouds float up to stairway nine

and you know it's just a wish
just to have that single kiss
I would feel I could not do it
be too scared if you would rue it

You give me butterflies inside...

Dreaming away, forgetting all the flowers that wisp me by
such differences in leaves and petals
but your nectar is unique

o so sweet
leaving me continuative and phased
making all the flowers become erased

I just want to touch and kiss you...

Want, need, your addicting husk
skin that must be recognized by my hands, eyes, and tongue
Must be categorized by every sense

Let me think of you and maybe my mind will send waves of sensation so strong
that I could feel it in my fingertips and some how form a mirage to practice on
All the love I could give you
all the love I could give you
all the love I could give you

If you would just stay and talk
Or just return my dumb founded face with a smile
That would make my life alright
that would make my life alright
that would make my life alright

I just want to touch and kiss you

You give me butterflies inside
                                   inside
                                    inside
