But Until Then - Lyric

Moonlight's soft glow
 Through window pane
 I feel the emotions drain
 Just hold my hand
 Pretend you care
 Feel my embrace
 If you so dare
Let love take it's last stand

   Chorus

And so we pretend
 To be lovers and friends
    We know it's too late
    To let our hearts dictate
  When tomorrow comes
  Heartbreaks will strum

But until then let's just pretend
 That love's still alive
 With tales we contrive
 And when it's all done
 I'll pack up my tears
 And throw away the years
 And heartache will grow
 In moonlight's soft glow

 Chorus

   And so we pretend
   To be lovers and friends
    We know it's too late
    To let our hearts dictate
   When tomorrow comes
  Heartbreaks will strum
