Love Poem: Burning Embers

Burning Embers

Our love started out as a burning fire
Nothing mattered but being in your arms
With passions flames you lifted me higher

How could I possibly resist your charms
That special smile, the one I remember
Nothing mattered but being in your arms

The flame's subsided it's now an ember
Others may not see but we both know
That special smile, the one I remember

I cherish the warmth of the ember glow
Our love so much stronger than yesterday
Others may not see but we both know

For many others love has gone away
We are so careful we tend to loves flame
Our love so much stronger than yesterday

Sure we have fun, yet love is not a game
We are so careful we tend to loves flame
Our love started out as a burning fire
With passions flames you lifted me higher
