Love Poem: Breathless

Breathless

Breathless

Every touch dies
Urgent moments from you
Each kiss a voiceless whisper
Around you floats an undying breathless

Cool chilled your curls
Lay pensive at porcelain shoulders
Awaiting the warmth of
Assignations love

Each caress withers
At a horizons touch beyond you
A singular worship
To the sanctity of the lost

The Aeon of caress
Promises divided by consent
Fall silent
Dumb witness to the heavens

Sleepless nights echo from your pillow
Coverlet of tears pressed to the aching soul
Dreams you dream alone
Between forgetful sheets of night

Every voiceless reaching toward fullness
Poised within an instant
Its colours succinct to a deeper shade
An innocent heretic refusing to repent

Out there in the never ending embrace of want
The soft wrapping of your arms
Linger on holding so close
Made breathless by the touch

So far away in a presence
Of drifting destiny
The concord of your tears
Wept in the quiet hours of eternity

Reveal me
Release me
Free me
Breathless
