Love Poem: Breathe

Breathe

There's somethin' 'bout that man
I can't understand
how
he seeped into my blood
and then roared through my veins
like an avalanche.
And I don't know how
I got so wild
'bout him. But it just seems
that his touch can
penetrate me harder than
the hardest of hards.
Oh Lord!

Lord.

I just don't think
that I even blink
without his permission
and I be missin'
him so bad when he's gone
that sometimes I forget
to breathe.
To breathe!
He takes my breath
and I just forget to

breathe.
