Bread On the Right, Knife On the Left

Two hearts in friendship, speeding the hands of the clock
together they merry, be it drinks in wine or meat in pork.

One nurtures the bond religiously, staying sensitive
the other evaluates loopholes and stays attentive.

The first so trust, so that can donate the left leg
the second marks every good deed with the trace of a broken egg.

Success of one attains a black belt in Judo
envy of the second gradually increases its libido.

In a warm serenity where the two share a piece of meat
one boils in the inside to suffer great heat.

Partnership seemingly growing stronger and absolute
the other link, devices a hidden agenda to pollute.

Carrying an infection only seen by a powerful lens
masking up hidden commas in every sentence.

The incubation period ends as the light finally switches off
one heart is broken, suffering from a dry painful cough.

This seems new, but long has this beloved strayed
a difficult chapter beginning with the headline ‘betray’.

The pain is unimaginable from this ulcer
moving on, the only option to be a step ahead of the cancer.
