Love Poem: Blue Eulogy For Scarlett

Blue Eulogy For Scarlett

She was gentle, loving, kind and good,
And helped others whenever she could.
Her tender heart was a beacon to all,
Like moonlight when the nightbirds call.

Her smile was the sunshine of a new day,
When marshmallow clouds drift and stay.
Alas, her dear vibrancy now has gone,
But angels live when life's withdrawn.

Loving daughter, mother, sister and wife,
She cherished sweet Jesus all of her life!
Like blooms that swoon beneath His feet,
And the parks that blush in summer's heat!

Unforgettable now is the life that she led-
Like the sunsets when the sky's all red;
Like the jade forests, where singing reigns,
And the beauteous peacock that is so vain!

She's largely responsible for who I became-
My very candle has been lit by her flame!
And memory is like many bright balloons,
To bring smiles on the lonely afternoons.

I was deeply honored for having known you-
Or my skies would never have been true blue;
As bluejay that sits serenading in his tree,
Or a lake sparkling way out in the country!
