Blame It On Love

Blame it all on Love

     Should I follow the moon?
Should I fall in love again?
Would it not be too soon?
Hate to fall in love in vain.

Crazy to see the moon in broad daylight,
While I strolled along the fine sandy bay.
There walking towards me was a rare sight,
One of my ex who always made me sway.

Absurd how I forgot what made us part.
Seems she was not so much angry with me
Was it the strange moon that made my poor heart
Pump hard that I had to rest at the quay.

Celestial ghostly moon peering at me,
Beauty holding my hand, sitting, staring,
On the quay, drinking coffee, I agree
The pale moon's pull brought me back her caring.

     Should I follow the moon?
Should I fall in love again?
Would it not be too soon?
Hate to fall in love in vain.

Alas I'm a sucker for all beauties,
Forgot the past, now I still adore her,
I pledge that from now on no more cuties,
The moon and my cute ex I now prefer.
