Love Poem: Black and White

Black and White

My life spins in tune with yours
twirling and dancing
through open doors
to think you almost slipped away
missing the mark in the usual way
In life we love one in the same
our minds are cloned
like the visions we claim

Of karma past now finally atoned
The most perfect fit we've ever known
how tragic our love I ever postponed
when confusion was setting my tone

The missing piece in a puzzled life
this fit won't falter for the rest of our lives

All of my life I have been waiting for
all that you give to me...

I've dreamed of this a thousand times before
even in my dreams
I couldn't love you more

If there were no words to speak
my heart would hear you still
If your eyes had no sight to seek
still sweetly would your hunger be filled

Easy is the road
wide is the gate
the key for every passage once closed
in time when there is no time to waste

Words and rhyme have ebbed their power
to convey such deep emotion
as a glacier over the sea will tower
it's fire breathes passion through the frozen

Such my feeble impartation
to sketch in black and white
the vividness and coloration
the hues of joy unseen by the eyes

Yet try I will although decrepit
to give tongue to all I feel
in voice of art defined poetic
when happy so true is surreal

Oh God, my God...
what did I do
to turn my sorrow into dreams come true?
