Love Poem: Big Picture

Big Picture

Settles arcane dust upon what we possessed,
Putting to bed with frosted sleep the wish fulfilment lure;
Cryogenic breeds the process, craft of freezing living tissue,
Anticipates the thaw, regenerates the pale obscure.
Vision alights, hawk-like, homing the farthest hills
Where sunspots dance a wistful mirage divine;
A country past, where tenacity slipped in exercise,
Beloved bones cremated, in sorrowful internecine.
Fondly recalled, the precept path of parallel tracks
Upon which locomotive chance crossed rapiers with doom;
The chaos theory postulates stuff happens, for it does,
Yet we still sink incisors deep into the carcass bloom.
Take hostage preconceptions and exterminate their total
For dreams are dreamt enough to forge their nature steel;
In a stream of howling protons at the stereo speed of sound
Waits the intersect of karma where two worlds collide for real.
