Love Poem: Big Brother

Big Brother

When I was small,
 you tortured me,
 with innocent tickles.

When I was eight,
 you taught me
 to ride a bike.

When I was eighteen,
 you offered comfort
 to a broken heart.

When I was twenty eight,
 your famous band
 played at my wedding.

When I was forty eight,
 you understood my
 married woes.

When I was admitted,
 unable to cope,
 you visited me.

When I was voiceless,
 and heading to court,
 you spoke for me.

When I was fatherless,
 you stepped in
 and fathered me.

I love you
