Beneath a Midnight Sky
The stars above are shining bright,
within a midnight sky.
Lying with me upon the sand,
as we watch stars shooting,
across soft velvet.
We turn our heads, eyes now locked,
swimming within our loving glow.
A gentle breeze whispers in your hair,
your peaceful sigh, a lullaby . . .
And in my dream, there is a midnight sky,
with a star brighter than all others.
Dark velvet envelopes my heart,
oh my love for you is eternal.
Mist of time, whispering in my hair,
and I fall into your eyes.
Lost again, under that sky and sand.
And in my memory, I am with you,
your peaceful sigh, a lullaby . . .
