Beloved

Sometimes there is sunshine Rising like a tangerine In the azure sky of dawn Beckoning to bring a tender sigh Of hope for the new day The second chance to pray For moments gone awry Sometimes there is a silver slice Of moon falling soft against A dark ebony sky, delighting In the twinkling of elated stars As they fire the night with a radiance So brilliant and alive that it ignites Passions and promises on the inside Sometimes there is rain falling Smooth on the afternoon silence Drifting with inspirational prose That soothe and tingle and ripple With healing, fulfilling every whisper Of carefully colored rays of praise Calling out from their blessed prayers Sometimes there is a rainbow Glorifying the rays of musical hope Murmuring like wind song on the air Brilliant and alive with a caress of pleasant Joy so sure and thriving that it becomes The inkling of a thought within one who Reaches out to the heavens for their healing Sometimes there is hope and faith Woven on strings of amazing grace Tied on the bows of a wonderful love So kind and bright that is sighs words Bent into shapes that paint the whole world With hues of kindness, inspiration and dreams Laughter that can see the hilarity in anxieties Sometimes I know that I have been blessed Beyond my imagination, beyond my comprehension With blessings so fulfilling and delightful They provide me with reasons to keep giving Keep believing, keep achieving and praying For the compassion of a God who knows me best And loves me much more than I love myself! Sometimes, I need to listen to His words When He tells me that I am His beloved!
