Love Poem: Belong

Belong

While she's telling you
She needs her space
I sit her very much wishing
How I would love to be the one taking her place
I long to hold you
To touch your face
But I understand just where it is I stand
And know we're taking this at a slow pace
You are more than my memories
You are someone whose love I could never erase
All the cards are laid out
I'm the one in love with you without a doubt
She don't really know what your love is all about
Because if she did she would be right by your side instead of trying to get out
She needs to make up her mind
Yet she keeps you holding on and wasting your time
Her love for you seems blind and to me that's a crime
She's so lucky and don't even know just how much
I would do for you just about anything
Just to once again have your touch
So are we again going to let this dream pass on by
Or spread our wings and together fly
Please don't turn away this time
Even if easier don't shut your eyes
Instead take a long look inside
Maybe then you'll see what you have never quite been able to find
And then you will no longer hide
Where's the sin
Go ahead now breathe me in
I'm the one standing here ready to be your oxygen
Is she there with you lost in your charms
Or wrapped up tightly in your strong arms
See I know where I belong I do
At your side
Right there with you
With you pleasing me
As I please you to...
...the question here now is what are you going to do
