Believer of Love
The day of reckoning is here
As my life takes a new direction
No more waiting on the lines for happiness
Only to walk away with rejection
I heard stories of a thing call love
But in my mind the concept never sticks
To me it was all just a fantasy
Just like the hit movie the matrix
So I would just write my poems
And drag my life through another day
Never knowing the god had already
Send one of his angels my way
And though I didn’t meet her as yet
I was already in love with her
And I feel her so close to me
But she was still so very far
And she had with her the lost keys
For the darken chambers of my heart
Bringing sunlight along the corridors
Causing a revolution for love to start
Making me a believer of love once again
Putting back a smile in my face
That has for many years
Has left and went way in disgrace
She has done all of this to me
From another part of the world
Giving an abundance of hope for tomorrow
And of a bright future waiting to unfold
Every time I hear her voice
I fall in love with her all over again
And my inside feels like a million butterflies
And my heart began racing
And all the love in the world
Comes crashing down on me
And it all belong to you
From now until infinity
You have made me a believer of love
And forever my heart will belong to you
And now I am not afraid to go to sleep
For you are my dreams already come true
