Being a Wonderful Man Is Not All I Am

Being a wonderful man
is not all I am, it's unfair to ignore
the sweetness I declare...
I'm worth much more;
being yours is not another possession,
or something called obsession:
it's somebody to hold,
to love, to be near, and to understand!

Even tenderness can lose
its taste of honey loved by impatient lips
that are eager to own that moment
quicker than a passing instant...
going deeper and reaching many stars
that yesterday were in an unknown universe!

Being a wonderful man
is not all I am or claim to be;
instead, try to discover the hidden beauty
that seldom is shown in faithless men;
my character is made up of humility,
of sincerity, of honesty, and of a deepness
that only certain eyes can see clearly;
and whenever I open these loving arms:
a burst of happy laughter excites me...
knowing that I'm loving the loveliest woman
who has faith in me and in all my promises!

Roses lose their intense scent
when they are about to fade...
while winds disperse them without their consent,
then winter comes and covers them with snow;
I'm closer than you imagine,
no distance should be measured by time!
Do lovers miss hugs while they wade
through memories dreaming on a cold pillow?
