Beauty

Beauty

After all these years, I’m tired of playing games
But I’ve realized who I yearn for, and Beauty is her name.
She has the qualities that give pleasure to my senses and my mind
She is the prototype of her kind
She is the one that would make my life complete
When I see her smile the whole world becomes obsolete
My love for her is beginning to give my heart a beating
I see her everywhere like someone’s spying to see if I’m cheating
Her eyes take my breath away when I seen her at school,
Walking back from class and the sway of her hips gets me hooked by the pool.
I talk to her everyday on multiple occasions on the phone,
I could talk to her on AIM while another form of her appears in my home
The way she slides her tongue ring between her top four teeth makes my world
spin right
When I try to go to sleep, she comes through like a thief in the night
She’s wearing me down as I hear her moans and her screams
She’s responsible for my sleepless nights because she’s even in my dreams
I started to talk to God and ask him how he could create such a thing
Wondering if she can really be a human being
Then last night, my eyes opened and he answered me
After all this time, Beauty is NOT a human being
I see why it was so hard to take beauty off of the shelf
Because beauty is more of what you see in a person that what they see in
themselves
The one who I plan on being with when it’s all said and done
Is the one who I can consider our thought of beauty become one
So now you see who I’ve yearned for, Beauty is her name
Until I find the one, I’ll have to continue playing her game.
