Specially Beautiful
God made all things beautiful* in His time
Such is clear in the Scriptures with truth’s chime.
Special children are beautiful indeed
Freely spirited of pure gladness-seed.
Though diagnosed with cerebral palsy
They’re gently upheld by the Lord’s mercy.
Facing developmental challenges
They exude God’s love in their growth’s changes.
Their quirks show clearly their distinct nature
Of care-needing gesture midst joy’s posture.
With their child-like faith, they truly inspire
Thru genuine concern for which they aspire.
Devoid of greed and covetousness-blight
Their simple fascinations bring delight.
Exemplifying wondrous contentment
They cheer with satisfaction's fulfillment.
Their ready mirth expressed by wide grin-smiles
Shout grateful hearts of marvelous lifestyles.
Patience-glow from guardians brightens their days
Along helpful ways of compassion rays.
*Ecclesiastes 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
