Beautiful Friends
My life is full of beautiful friends,
some I know well, and some I have never seen.
The mystery of it all, is so quiet clear,
they all mean so much to me, no matter how far or near.
One very special friend calls me everyday,
even if it's just to say hello, to see if I'm ok.
We live about twenty miles from her door to mine,
but if I ever need her, she is here in record time.
My other friends are all so far away,
but I join them all on the Soup, nearly every day.
Friendship is a bond we make, by having common ground,
a friend will pick you up, when life knocks you down.
My life is blessed to have a family of friends so unique,
and I do cherish their every word, they mean the world to me.
