Baggage

"Baggage"

Can I please have some room to carry this baggage?
My heart needs surgery, no bandage
Perhaps let us redefine its purpose
Security access is non-existent; whatever allowed is there to impose
No proper structures, just frames with feelings that pose
Glimpses of pictures depicting a scary conclusion
Papers everywhere, no resolved cases, just new cases increasing possible self destruction
Flashes of a life that still exist but the leading role is missing in action
I ask you again, can I please have some room to carry this baggage?
They pay me no attention, I hear them mumbling saying "his heart can take it and he's at the right age"
Can I invite you in; we'll have a muffin and coffee if we can find space
Look around, yes I cleaned last night, but everything just comes back to fill the space
Please don't leave; I need you to take me to a place of no complications somewhere in space
The heart rate is beating at an unprecedented pace
I need new cabinets to save the space or perhaps relocate to an alternative place
Until then, i'm stuck with these papers like a writer staring at a book with no ending
I ask one last time, can I please have some room to carry this baggage?
My body feels relentlessly heavy like it's dragging a carriage
Yes I need room, who doesn't at this day and age
