Away We Fly

Could I change one thing, could I change your mind?
Now the sorrow sing, for I was left behind.
Just like the old days, just like always.
Our love stays, yet it flies away.
I felt our kiss, as our lips touch.
I now miss, the feeling as such.
Just say, goodbye...
You see today, I live and I'll die.
Grab my star, as it takes you to the sky.
You'll go so far, away we fly.
We hear the beat, now it's our turn.
They'll meet defeat, as we let them burn.
Let history repeat again, one too many times.
We will know then, this world's rhymes.
You know, what I'll say.
Just go, for they laugh today.
Take my hand, I promise you life.
Together we'll stand, husband and wife.
They're all still the same, hard to believe.
I don't know why they came, should I leave?
Will you stay by my side, and guide me through?
I'll no longer hide, for I love you.
I fall into fantasy, and fly away.
For it'll be just you and me, why should we stay?
