Love Poem: At Ease

At Ease

I apologize,
You'll never spend another sleepless night alone
Late night phone calls
Out of misery, jealousy for you, I long for all
No more domestic violence
You and I can just cuddle in silence
You don’t even have to put on that masquerade
Your beauty’s intimidating and it last for days
You soft touch and tenderness
Automatically hinders my stress
I must confess that with you I feel blessed
And you can lay your head down now
You can rest your most intimate thoughts
I promise I wont make a sound
By all means you can lay your head down now
All the loneliness in this composition
Soft strands of your hair
through my fingers is a constant repetition
Flash backs of all the things we been through
Something special like the first time I seen you
Before sunrise I'm used to seeing you yawning
Another restless night twisting and turning
Now it seems I'm the only one capable of mourning
My plan to become a better man
And bring home a bigger profit
Crystal popping, champagne bottles
Tickle games and play fights
You don't mean it but you murmur stop it
My enemies want to make a proposition
My definition to peace is
"You either step or pay your tuition."
And always its you that I can count on to listen
Now I can't sleep cause it's you I'm missing
But you can lay your head down now
You can rest your most intimate thoughts
I promise I won't make a sound
By all means you can lay your head down now
