Love Poem: Aspects of Beauty

Aspects of Beauty

Beauty appears as different things to different people
It may be the reaching up of a towering steeple
Or something pleasing to the eye
Like blending blues up in the sky

It may be a person simply being
A beautiful thing worthy of seeing
Or a person deciding to let someone go
Because of their love the other may grow

A memory from one’s past
A kind of beauty that long will last
Especially when energized with a smile
It will last for quite a while

Beauty is the love from another not expected
Or love for another that’s not rejected
A beautiful love, unknown in our mind
Unconditional Love the Godly kind

The beautiful majesty of a waterfall
Or the sweet sound of the bat on a homerun ball
Beauty is clouds forming a form of art
Especially when shaped in the form of a heart

Then there’s the beauty of a song well sung
And the beautiful sound of a bell well rung
Friendship that lasts over many years
Enduring many laughs and some tears

Since there are so many answers to this question
Allow me to offer a closing suggestion
Be slow to judge beauty just by what you see
For everything has beauty to some degree
