As I Lay Myself To Sleep

As I lay myself to sleep in the dusk of my heart The sky still shines bright Luna streams through the blinds Its porcelain glow reflects honey in these almond eyes ....and I think of him a gentle descent on my pillow-case golden firefly's radiance cascading upon rosy silk satin face A frozen star melting in the silence of my arms lavenders' kiss embracing unworthy lips But when the night is over like an autumn leaf in early breeze He is carried away....far far away Far too gone, to utter words I so wanted to say ... and each misty morn tired footsteps mark the path to the old oak tree which witnessed our dream our shared peach ,our holding hands our blissful joy and distant tears There I sit, alone but not in solitude by that grassy stone, which holds his name engraved Secretly,I whisper to his soul Unspoken thoughts I yearned to say 'You are gone..but never gone I might arrive late..yet never too late I feel your absence in my bones like cold air on a rainy day but tomorrow ,somehow, somewhere Our May garden blooms pink blossoms by the promise of today' Ps-This is a fiction poem.. But in reality..Let show love to those who are dear to us today Cause tomorrow who knows If We are to stay??? Inspired by a song-If tomorrow never comes
