Love Poem: As a Fool

As a Fool

I love you
But I want to love you more
Like the broth of sea washes the shore
In love for the oysters.

I am bland
Still I play on the beach sand
Like a torn silk of wonder in the fringes
In love for the stardust.

You call me fool
But I will wait for you
Like a honey bird waits for first rain
In love for her babies.

I love
I will love
As a fool.
