Another Verse For You

Anyone dedicated you verses before?
Well, I have. Already something about sixteen.
With each new one I think if there is something more
To say. You made sex life richer than of a teen.

You are now at work, in your black suit and a tie.
Meeting and resolving some important issues.
I think of our silly games but don't start to cry.
At last you find my email and you need tissues.

I'm sorry, didn't mean to upset you at all.
It's just that I am overwhelmed with feelings.
Don't you worry. I'm a big girl. I will not call.
Now you can proceed with your important dealings.

I wonder of how you would react when you find out.
Will you be mad? Confused? Or sad? Will you be touched?
I'm pulling my soul here on paper. Inside out!
Would use them as lyrics for songs? Or not so much?

Whatever you decide to do. The real consent
Is what we both believe in. No state's permanent,
Remember? Although me and you we represent
Different nations, generations. Off I went

When we said goodbyes on sunrise land of Cuba
You wanted to take a plane back. You never did...
Won't love or see water color of Aruba.
Image's imprinted in heart as if I were a kid

When we met and all this crazinness unfolded.
Last week I found myself in a mudbit gutter.
Unbearably low. Need no help. I'm pretty scolded.
Next week I'd read my poems. Hope I don't stutter.

Embarrassing plus don't want to ruin my debut
My frantic episode is over. I shiver.
Happy I can pay my magnificent tribute
To what we had. I'd prefer you'd make me quiver.

So how do I end this? What do I say at last?
I said so many things already. I wish you
Serendipity, peace. I wonder if you fast?
Right! So that's what it is. I'm fasting to renew...
