Anna and the French Kiss

gathering her long dress in both hands, she ran across her father’s green fields, to the shore lines and its golden sands, to his warm embrace, kisses she yields. that moment of young love, his warm kiss, restored her faith in life gone amiss, hardships of home with a drunken dad, and loss of loving mum she once had. her hurried foot prints through trampled grass, spoke of eagerness of this young lass, to meet the person who breathed her joy, her face pink with happiness, some coy. he waited there in his checkered shirt, smile on face, shoes without speck of dirt, caught her as she jumped into his arms, covered her face with kisses in swarm! setting Sun paid tribute to their love, crimson rays going golden above, swirl of evening breeze from spring meadow, as the two locked their lips and shadows! a kiss is synchrony of two hearts, when souls yearn and cannot be apart, in that love moment, Anna bloomed again, away from past, life she would regain!
