Angels Danced the Day She Was Born- Mty
I was told that I would never conceive,
so, when I saw two lines I couldn’t believe!
Ten perfect fingers and ten perfect toes,
I named her my adoring Ella Rose.
Perfect rosy cheeks and a button nose.
She is everything I need in life,
she even means more than being a wife.
Sassy and brassy and sometimes too bold,
but seeing those brown eyes, my heart is sold.
I must savor her youth before she’s old.
She still holds my hand in public just ‘cause,
and I’ll never forget how brave she was
when her auntie died and left her alone.
If she could see how much Ella's grown,
and that she's still her niece with much love known.
Angels danced the day she was born in grace,
they sang when they saw her small flawless face.
A teenager and much love she bestows,
and I know a secret no one else knows-
no one means more than my sweet Ella Rose.
