Angels At Dusk

You are tardy in your travels to me.
Sometimes it’s better never than too late.
You are the sun who has brought-ripe, love for me.
Sometimes the hay catches fire and the sun burns out.
You are light who has fallen to darkness and given sight to me.
Sometimes it’s light that’s your aggressor and the veil of darkness your comforter.
You are the ending of nightmares and the beginning of dreams.
Sometimes nightmares begin but dreams never end.

Travelled in search of you until you found me.
Travelled through the unseeing to be with you.
Travelled through the seeing and saw nothing, until you.
Travelled directionless and have now come to it’s end.
Travelled from unknowing into unknowing and must to unknowing now go.

I have changed my religion to you.
And you are my religion as I am yours.

Our faith is timeless like moving sands.
Our faith is malleable like changing times.
Our faith is destructive like darkening clouds.
Our faith is consoling like floating butterflies.
Our faith is creative like extinct stars in the heavens.

Note.
Angels are 'one' in gender.
