in the background we hear the drones of bees
purple majesty parading truth next to a giant eye
a garden of hollyhocks and the swish of large oak trees
faeries and gnomes must be lingering quite near
lavender wings lavish wonder, bringing peace and enchantment
hummingbird’s azure head looks into relaxing retina mirror
her turquoise collar matches the empathetic human’s eyes
there are touches of green mimicking garden
hummingbird's breath steams up the mirror of love
citrus orange makes up the tail as she flies backwards
