And They Knew Each Other
And now, they knew in the biblical way
the yin and yang, the dark and day.
Their virtue they shared in heat of night
timing, intent and outcome were right.
And now they knew in the biblical way
there is a truth in what they say.
It is said that actions speak loudly.
Of this tryst, they should feel proudly.
And now they knew in the biblical way
that feeling close is feeling okay.
Times are not always rosy pink.
Positive comes from how they think.
And now they knew in the biblical way
it’s a perfect fit for future lay
almost as if someone made a plan
for her to be woman and him to be man.
