Love Poem: An Eye On the Inside

An Eye On the Inside

The other day.
There was a beam.
A portal to a world full of Kings and Queens.
But it was cold.
Dark like his heart.
The frozen river on my face is love-
Torn apart.

All weren't divided.
All were the same.
But all were sober to chains.
I couldn't see it;
But I created,
With all, a place between truth and overrated.

If I had seen it all.
Like a fly on a wall.
Would I accept what I couldn't control?
Would I unravel the pain?
Or would I try to escape.
Like a fly fleeing for its life.

I'm on the hunt for the
gambled lies you put in
my head.
You should start running.
You should be scared.
When I chain you down and shout...

I don't need you anymore!
Take your words and lies
and hit the door!
Take the hurt and the pain
and just leave before I go insane.
I wanna live!
I wanna be a blossoming phoenix!

We all can be Kings and Queens;
If we learn to believe.

I have a plan.
To build a wall;
a great divide that will never fall.
Freeing us from all the pain.
Keeping the scums away.

Brick by brick.
Built it so thick.
Became an eclipse of myths.
One by one.
We all became numb.
Like shards of a shattered heart.

For those who have fallen out of love. You can always get back up stronger than before and you don't need someone to enjoy life.
