An Empty Hole

Who wants to love me for who I am?
Who on this earth, will hold my hand?

When the going gets rough
We stick together and stay tough

Hurt badly in my past
I lay awake and watch the hour pass

Right now I just want someone I can hold tight and adore
Tonight the woman I liked said no more

Who will be there for me in my days to come?
Who will be there to go with me when I just want to run?

To me, you were worth more then gold
To you, my heart was sold

To you though, it was just words
You move around blind like a flock of birds

You think you know but you do not see
How bad, you have truly hurt me
