An Empty Cup
My heart has dealt with so many tears
The loss of love through out the years
A mother a father two brothers are gone
What love do I have left to go on
My heart has been emptied of lost love
How can I fill my empty cup that once was
A call I cannot make and a letter I cannot send
Just my empty voice calling for their love
I can only write words of heartbreak to those who are not here
Who have taken my love to a place far beyond, I still shed a tear
Years of happiness now just memories of lost ones
How could they have left me alone with this empty cup of love
They celebrated my birth and I morn their death
Unspoken words I cannot say for their ears
Can no longer hear these last words I wanted to say
My family I will be with you one day
Wait for me my family for someday
I will be on my way and once again you will fill my cup with love
