American Pumpkin Pie
There I was in American celebrating Thanksgiving with thee
Turkey, ham and all the trimmings, oh so real yum-my
Then Pumpkin pie, pumpkin pie served for all to share
Oh dear! Pumpkin, served up in a pie, just plain yuckie
Now lamingtons or Pavlova one can never ever beat
Even apple pie and ice cream are so delicious to eat

I took a bite and to my surprise it tasted, Oh so sweet
Please don’t let Australia know, it’s now my favourite treat!
