Always and Never
Always taken for granted with sweet lies upon my grave,
always in a predicament with no more smiles to save,
always trying to be strong enough to show I can be brave,
always breaking my spirit from the love you never gave.
Never willing to hold hands even during my darkest times,
never bringing me peach dessert, only lemons and limes,
never practicing what you preach, I'm a victim of your crimes,
never ending nasty letters with cruel feelings and no rhymes.
