All Used Up

All Used Up
By Kevin Robey

[Verse 1]
Just as messed up as I seem
My ears bleed every night I dream
Gasping every time I breathe
Just turn around and look at me

You may see clarity and sanity
But it’s vanity and insanity
Every time that I pass you by
Thinking every smile is another lie

Ran from shadows every day and night
Never did I turn and fight
Ran every day from everything
Now there's nothing left to bring

I’m all used up
I’m all used up…

[Chorus 1]
Can you see me falling apart?
Should’ve known right from the start
That every deceiving face I show
Leaves me alone, yeah now I know

[Verse 2]
They’ve moved on, this much I see
No sound as I fall straight to my knees
It makes so much sense I’m finally alone
Facing sunsets every night on my own

This is the world that I blocked out
They wanted me, I was devout
In my beliefs, but now I shout
Lost prophesies so full of doubt

I’m holed up in this empty room
Feels more like my nightly tomb
I’m quiet now, I just gave up
No more drinks, pour out the cup

I’m winding down, but soon I’ll dream
Of shiny things from brighter scenes
I’ll sleep for a while, and soon I’ll call
Cause you won’t see me the day I fall

I know my fate
It's way too late...

[Chorus 2]
Can’t you see me falling apart?
Always knew this from the start
That every deceiving lie I tell
Leaves me alone, yeah I'm in hell
