Love Poem: All My Love

All My Love

I am the hand drawn to his lips, the whisper in his ear. I am the sway in his smooth hips, his first and only tear. I am his gold in memories, the song he hears in sleep. I am the dream he longs to free, a loving thought to keep. I am his rising light of day, his warmth on winter’s night. I am clouds parting when he prays, his shield from pain and fright. If I am these and never more, with my last breath, I shall rejoice. To know, content, my heart beat for love’s words held deep beneath his voice.
