Agony And Ecstasy
Cascading waves wash ashore,
tickling toes, as they ebb and flow:
while moonbeams
set a trillion jewels sparkling
upon the shoal.
Smiles summon sweet emotions
as we stroll upon the beach,
hand in hand
under a starry sky:
pausing to build castles in the sand.
And in this state of blissfulness:
two lonely souls unite,
for all eternity.
Our hopes and tears
willingly shared:
trust defines the essence of caring.
Yet, love offers so much more;
facilitating fantasies,
and fulfilling dreams.
Agony and ecstasy meld
with each ardent kiss.
And my heart's consumed by passion’s flame:
having never felt love,
as intense as this.
